On Dec. 20, 2017 Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) conducted their 30th express entry draw for this year. A total of 2,750 candidates were invited to apply for their permanent residency to Canada with a Comprehensive Ranking Score (CRS) of 446 and above.
IRCC, in their last few draws implemented the tie-breaker rule, which means that not everyone who had a score of 446 (the cut-off) were invited. Only candidates who created their profile in the express entry pool before Oct. 02, 2017 , who scored 446 points were given the invitation to apply.
A decrease of 6 points was noticed from the last CRS draw which was conducted on Dec. 06, 2017 with the cut-off being 452 points.
